Cancer Society 2019 Mud Run A Success!

Runners in 2019 cancer society mud run over pink container

The Cancer Society of Chatham-Kent held their annual Mudmoiselle mud run on April 27th and we were honoured to not only lend storage solutions for the long-running event but also be a part of the event as one of the obstacles during the course run. The mud run was held at C. M. Wilson Conservation Area and challenged runners through a 5K obstacle course. It’s muddy, it’s fun and it helps to fight cancer by raising money to support integral programming for families and patients in the Chatham-Kent community.

What’s exciting about The Mudmoiselle obstacle course is that it’s a 5K stretch of the muckiest, filthiest, slimiest mud. It’s where your inner child runs free while testing your strength and determination. This event is open to everyone 14 years of age and older and of all fitness levels. Whether you’re used to running marathons, running around the office or running after your kids, it provides great exercise for an even better cause.

Each year, event partners at Winmar Chatham work diligently to up the anti to provide runners with even more and exciting obstacles. This year they turned our 20ft container, which was painted pink in honour of breast cancer of awareness into a fun, but challenging part of the route. An additional 20ft portable storage container was onsite to provide storage solutions for registration, runner’s gear, beverages, and administration needs.
